Gym Installation & storage

We received an unusual request from a client who wanted us to relocate their gym from a basement in a house in central London. They also required us to store the equipment while the basement was redecorated.

At first, we were unsure about how we could help them since they didn't need anything imported or exported. However, we decided to accept their request and sent our team at DTS to do a site survey.

After conducting a thorough inspection, we realized that we would have to remove a large sash window and build a scaffold platform. This would enable us to lift out the equipment using a Hi-Ab crane. We immediately got to work, and our carpenter removed the window while we installed the scaffold platform. We then took the machines apart, lifted them onto the platform, and used the crane to lift them out. Once we had them in our vehicles, we transported them back to our warehouse to store for a month.

After a month, the client informed us that they had finished redecorating their space. They gave us the green light to bring back the equipment that was previously agreed upon, as well as the new equipment they had purchased. Since we had a floor plan prepared, we were able to start right away. To install the equipment, we began by removing the window again and building a scaffold platform to crane in the equipment. After that, we assembled everything in its place, and the personal trainer arrived to ensure that everything was working correctly.

Once the personal trainer had signed off, we took down the platform and put the window back in its place. The client was delighted with our work, and they were ready to start their workout routine.
